The Shore House is the ultimate romantic getaway on spectacular Lake Tahoe, with lakefront gardens, lawns, pier, and adjoining sandy beach. Each floor is surrounded by decks offering fabulous views of our pristine lake and snow-capped mountains. Our large outdoor lakefront hot tub offers relaxation with spectacular vistas. Fine lakefront restaurants, art galleries, and top-name entertainment at casinos are close by. Winter at Tahoe is a wonderland offering skiing, skating, snowmobiling and much more. We offer wedding services for small intimate lakefront weddings, and a lakefront honeymoon cottage. Your hosts, Barb, Marty & Jake Cohen, have lived at Lake Tahoe for 25 years.

The Shore House offers nine guest rooms, each with its own special features and charm. All of our rooms have a private outdoor entrance and private bathrooms, custom built log furniture with Scandia Down comforters and feather beds, and gas log fireplaces.

We serve a full gourmet breakfast each morning in our lake front dining room or out on our lawns right by the water''s edge including: a fresh fruit dish and entre. Barbara is an award winning Bed and Breakfast Chef. We custom blend and grind our coffee each day.

In the Winter time: Tahoe is truly a winter wonderland. We have 10 world class ski areas within a 20 minute drive of the Shore House. These resorts include Squaw Valley Northstar and Alpine Meadows We can also arrange for snowmobile tours, ice skating, sleigh rides, snow shoeing and any other winter sport or attraction. It''s all right here close to the Shore House. In the Summer time: We are right on the water front offering all water activities such as swimming, boating, cruising, wave runners, sailing, parasailing and water skiing. We also can help you with all mountain activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding and touring.
